This allows you to let out as much of your home as you want! If you earn less than £7,500, tax exemption is applied automatically and you don't have to do anything, you'd only have to complete a tax return if you earn over the £7,500 threshold limit! A flatshare typically refers to sharing an apartment, while a houseshare refers to sharing a house. Both involve multiple tenants living together and sharing common areas.

House sharing often involves some form of tenancy agreement between the landlord and the tenants, make sure you read this over and ensure you understand the terms before signing!

If any issues arise with your housemates, we always recommend trying to discuss this with them and communicating any issues, however, if necessary, it's always best to involve the landlord or property manager to help mediate the situation!

We all love our friendly fluffy pets and want them to have somewhere safe to stay! The allowance of pets in a house share depends on the landlord's policy, always be sure to check the listing details or ask the landlord directly about this!

The rent usually covers the cost of the room and access to common areas. Some listings may include utilities and other expenses, so check the listing details for specific information.

Contact the landlord or property manager through the platform to arrange a viewing. They will provide available dates and times for you to visit the property.

During a viewing, check the condition of the property, the size and layout of the rooms, the amenities available, and the overall cleanliness. Ask any questions you have about the property.

The payment method for rent will be specified in the tenancy agreement. Common methods include bank transfer, direct debit, or online payment platforms.

Once you have agreed on the terms with the landlord, you will sign the tenancy agreement, pay the deposit and first month's rent, and arrange a move-in date.
